Deon van Den Berg

Deon van den Berg is an accomplished plant manager with extensive experience in the manufacturing and construction materials sectors. Currently serving as Plant Manager at Washington Mills since March 2017, Deon has previously held key positions, including Operations Manager for LafargeHolcim, where responsibilities encompassed complete P&L oversight for multiple operations. Deon has demonstrated a strong track record of cost reduction, operational improvements, and team leadership across various organizations, such as Owens Illinois and Holcim US, Inc. Educational qualifications include a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma from Purdue University, an MBA from Henley Business School, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Stellenbosch University.
