Roksaneh Salartash is currently serving as a Gallatin City Government Fellow at the NYC Office of the Mayor since August 2023, focusing on research for the Mayor’s Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence. Roksaneh also holds the positions of President and Executive Board Member in the NYU Persian Cultural Society and has experience as a staff and contributing writer for Washington Square News. Recently, Roksaneh completed a judicial internship with the New Jersey Courts and worked as a public affairs intern for the New York State Inspector General, where responsibilities included legal research and social media management. Past roles include serving as a Farsi translator for Incite Pictures / Cine Qua Non, a communications intern at Human Rights First, and a digital media intern at Creative Exchange Agency. Roksaneh is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Law at New York University, expected to graduate in May 2025, and holds a high school diploma from Mainland Regional High School.

It is published Monday through Thursday during New York University’s academic year, except during university holidays, vacations, and exam periods.The newspaper isdistributed to more than 100 locations in Manhattan and reaches about 60,000 students, faculty, staff members, and residents of its community.
