Abigail Berube, MPH, CPHQ has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Starting in 2008, they worked at the University of Chicago Medical Center as a Project Manager/Quality Improvement Specialist. During this time, they successfully implemented a $2M Merck grant aimed at reducing disparities in diabetes. Abigail oversaw the development of patient education classes, provider cultural competency training, and clinical redesign using quality improvement methods. Through these efforts, there were notable improvements in diabetes self-management and provider cultural competency.

In 2012, Abigail joined the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, where they held various roles. Abigail Berube, MPH, CPHQ, received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology/Art from Ithaca College in 2006.
