Travis E. Nelson is the current State Representative for House District 44 in Oregon, succeeding former Oregon Speaker Tina Kotek. Travis also serves as the Vice Chair of the Behavioral Health & Healthcare Committee. In addition to their political role, Travis is also a Democratic National Committee Member, a member of the American Nurses Association, and holds various leadership positions within nursing organizations. Travis has a strong background in nursing, holding degrees ranging from an Associate of Arts and Science to a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management.
