Salahuddin Ahmed

Salahuddin Ahmed currently serves as the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Education and Executive Director of Graduate Programs at Washington State University Spokane since July 2021, additionally holding the position of Professor and Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Washington State University since March 2014. Salahuddin is also an Affiliate Professor at the University of Washington - School of Medicine since November 2016. Previous roles include Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Toledo and Research Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan. Salahuddin's academic journey began with a Ph.D. in Nutrition and Chemoprevention from Jamia Hamdard, and continued with a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Orthopedics from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Additional degrees include a Master of Science in Toxicology and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Zoology from Jamia Hamdard and the University of Rajasthan, respectively.
