Amanda Conn

General Counsel at Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission

As head of the General Counsel’s Office, Amanda leads a legal team that provides legal services to support WSSC Water. She also oversees the Claims and Ethics offices.

A graduate of the University of Maryland and the University of Baltimore School of Law, Amanda is a member of the Maryland Bar, the U.S. Supreme Court Bar, the Maryland U.S. District Court Bar and the Bar of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She is a former chair and current treasurer of the State and Local Government Law Section of the Maryland State Bar Association.

Amanda has been an adjunct professor of law at both the University of Maryland and University of Baltimore schools of law. She takes great pride in seeing her former students working in the highest levels of government across Maryland.

Outside of law, Amanda’s interests include art and running. She has a minor in art and paints landscapes in her spare time. She also just completed her first half marathon.
