Chief Procurement Officer at Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission

Caprecia directs a team of procurement professionals who purchase goods and services in a transparent, fair and cost-effective manner. The team establishes positive business relationships with suppliers and drives equitable competition for qualified suppliers and contractors who compete for WSSC Water contracts.

Caprecia also led the implementation of the Supply Chain Transformation Program, which resulted in an estimated savings of $85 million over a five-year period.

A graduate of University of California-Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Studies, Caprecia also holds Masters’ Degrees in Business Administration, Public Policy and Environmental Science from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.

In her spare time, Caprecia enjoys playing softball and completing crossword puzzles.
