Jim Antush has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Jim started their career in 1993 at the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner as an Actuarial Analyst, where they reviewed rate and rule submissions from insurance companies and performed complex actuarial calculations. Jim worked there until 2011.
From 2011 to 2017, Jim held various roles at WSRB, a compliance and actuarial services company. Jim started as an Actuarial Services Consultant and then became the Director of Compliance & Actuarial Services. In their final role at WSRB, Jim served as the Vice President, overseeing and directing the operations of the Compliance and Actuarial Services Department and ensuring compliance with insurance statutes and regulations.
In 2018, Jim became the President of the Washington Insurance Examining Bureau. This non-profit organization ensures the use of lawful rates, rules, and forms in Washington property insurance policies.
Jim Antush's education history includes attending Central Washington University, where they pursued a degree in Mathematics with a field of study in Actuarial Science. Before attending university, they completed their high school education at Wilson High School.
