Shannon Cowley

Shannon Cowley has extensive experience in compliance, risk management, and operations in the banking industry. Shannon most recently served as the Chief Compliance Officer at Washington Trust Bank since November 2020. Prior to that, they held various leadership roles at Huntington National Bank, starting as an Operations Manager and working their way up to SVP, Enterprise Compliance Risk Director. Before joining Huntington National Bank, Shannon worked at Wells Fargo as a Work Director overseeing a team focused on consumer sales finance contracts reconciliation and staff development. Their experience demonstrates a strong background in compliance risk oversight, regulatory requirements, and effective governance practices.

Shannon Cowley earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Albion College.
