Blackford “Beau” Brauer is President of Hunter Engineering Company, a manufacturer of capital equipment for the automotive industry. Hunter Engineering products are designed and built in the United States and used by automotive workshops in over 100 countries.
He is active in the St. Louis community, as a Director of the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, a Member of the Executive Committee of the Chair’s Council of Greater St. Louis, Inc. and a Member of the Regional Business Council. At Washington University, he has served on the Olin Veteran’s Association Advisory Board and as an advisor to the Personal and Professional Growth Working Group in the University’s 2021 strategic planning process.
He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University and Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Princeton University.
