Douglis Beck

Douglis Beck, Assoc AIA, AIAP, ASMP, is a seasoned architecture and design professional with extensive experience in both practice and academia. Currently serving as Design Principal and Owner of Documodern LLC since December 2017, Douglis specializes in architectural photography and design, emphasizing strong relationships within the AEC community. In addition, Douglis has been a Faculty Assistant and Lecturer at Washington University in St. Louis since August 2018, focusing on graduate courses in architecture's history, theory, and design thinking. Previous roles include Communications Director at Urban Improvement Conglomerate, where strategic marketing efforts resulted in a $3 million annual sales increase, and Graphics Manager at Jaffe Book Solutions, where Douglis significantly expanded print production capabilities. Douglis's academic credentials include a Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis, a Master of Arts from St. John's College, and a Bachelor of Arts from Webster University.
