Emma Gerber is currently a Peer Counselor at Uncle Joe's Peer Counseling and Resource Center and a Peer Writing Tutor at Washington University in St. Louis, both positions held since January 2023. In the summer of 2024, Emma will serve as a Legal Programs Intern at the Illinois Prison Project, where responsibilities include leading an interdepartmental project focused on developing custom applications to streamline legal processes. Previous experiences include a Centennial Research Intern role at the Cleveland Council On World Affairs and an internship at Ohio Immigrant Alliance. Emma began her professional journey as a Summer Camp Counselor at Hathaway Brown Broad Horizons Day Camp, which lasted from 2016 to 2019. Emma is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies and French Language and Literature at Washington University in St. Louis, expected to graduate in May 2025, after earning a high school diploma from Hathaway Brown School in 2021.
