Katy Lazenby

Katy Lazenby is currently a Medical Student at Washington University in St. Louis, beginning August 2024. Previously, Katy served as a Senior Consultant, Consultant, and Analyst at Deloitte from July 2020 to July 2024. Katy's research experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Research Fellow in various labs at Vanderbilt University, where significant contributions included developing an image processing pipeline for MRI image synthesis in Oguz Lab and creating a robust image analysis program at the Frankel Cardiovascular Center. Further research experience includes evaluating cancer cell invasion in Reinhart-King Lab and developing a cost-effective protocol for artificial blood vessel assembly at Wayne State University. Katy holds a Bachelor’s of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and an International Baccalaureate from the International School of Düsseldorf.
