Lois Mack is a dedicated laboratory professional with a Bachelor of Science in Plant Sciences from Harris-Stowe State University. Currently serving as a Laboratory Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis since August 2020, Lois also works as a Research Lab Technician at Saint Louis Community College and is involved in pioneering research on the Root Fusion between mangrove and succulent plants through the Minority Science and Engineering Improvement Program at Harris-Stowe State University. Prior experience includes a leadership role as Team Lead of the Missouri Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation, mentoring STEM students from November 2018 to August 2020.
