Qile Yang

Qile Yang is an undergraduate researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, actively involved in the Song Lab and Conboy Lab, focusing on the development of statistical packages and analysis. Additionally, Qile serves as a bioinformatics developer at Washington University in St. Louis, contributing to the scRepertoire package and set to co-author in its next major release. Upcoming roles include a bioinformatics and machine learning engineer position at Generation Lab and a member of the computational biology research team with iGEM at Berkeley. Previous experience includes research on bioinformatics methods at Stockholm University, an internship at Karolinska Institutet focused on immunology and bioinformatics, and serving as Secretary and Auditor for the Student Union of IEGS. Qile Yang holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley, pursuing this degree until May 2027 after completing an IB diploma at Internationella engelska gymnasiet sodermalm.
