Robert J. Skandalaris

Robert Skandalaris is principal, chairman, and chief executive officer of Quantum Ventures of Michigan, LLC, a privately held company specializing in the acquisition and development of middle-market firms. He has held several senior officer positions including founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Acorn Asset Management; founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Noble International, Ltd.; vice chairman and shareholder of Oxford Investment Group, Inc.; and senior vice president of Prudential-Bache Securities. Mr. Skandalaris chairs the Athletic Advisory Board at Michigan State University and serves on several community boards. In addition to his leadership on the Board of Trustees, he serves on the Olin Business School National Council and is a past member of the Parents Council, the Michigan Regional Cabinet. He also served as vice chair of the Leading Together Campaign Executive Committee for Entrepreneurship. Mr. Skandalaris is the recipient of the Robert S. Brookings Award (2002), the Dean’s Medal from the Olin Business School (2002), and the Michigan Regional Award (2012). He has received honorary doctorate degrees from Michigan State University and Eastern Michigan University. Mr. Skandalaris earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and a Master of Science in administration from Eastern Michigan University.
