Sarah Perkins

Sarah Perkins, MA, MPH, is an experienced professional in project development and grants management, currently serving as the Project Development and Grants Manager at Washington Yu Ying Public Charter School since October 2009, where approximately $6.2 million in funds has been secured for the institution. Previously, Sarah worked as a Program Associate at John Snow, Inc. from 2000 to 2003, providing administrative support for a USAID-financed project and acting as a liaison with field offices in Togo and Mali. Earlier experience includes a role as a Program Associate at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies from 1997 to 1999. Sarah holds an MPH in Maternal and Child Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an MA in East Asian Studies, and a BA in English and East Asian Studies, both from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as having graduated from Phillips Academy.
