Andrea Sharp

Andrea Sharp currently serves as a Deputy Public Defender for Washoe County, beginning in April 2023. Prior to this role, Andrea gained valuable experience as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Nevada Supreme Court from August 2021 to March 2023 and held several law clerk positions, including at Karp & Weiss, P.C., and the Federal Public Defender, both in early 2021. Earlier in the legal career, Andrea worked as a Summer Associate at Friedman | Rubin, PLLP, and Bradley Drendel & Jeanney, and completed a Judicial Externship at the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. Additionally, Andrea has experience as a law clerk at the Arizona Center for Law in the Public Interest and was an English Language Assistant at Ministère de l'Éducation nationale. Andrea holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in French Language & Literature and Political Science & Government from the University of Nevada, Reno.
