Matthew MacDonell

Matthew MacDonell has a strong work history in engineering and project management. Matthew started their career at OHM Advisors in 1998 as a Project Engineer and later became a Client Representative and Project Manager. In 2006, they joined the Washtenaw County Road Commission as the Permits & Subdivision Supervisor and worked their way up to Senior Project Manager - Permits & Construction. In 2013, they were promoted to Assistant Director of Engineering and in 2018, they became the County Highway Engineer - Director of Engineering.

Matthew MacDonell obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University between 1994 and 1998. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn from 1999 to 2006.
