Ahmed Alshaibani

Ahmed AlShaibani is an accomplished architect and design strategist with a diverse background in real estate development and urban planning. Currently serving as Head of Food Tech Valley since June 2021, AlShaibani has also held significant roles at wasl group, including Head of Design Strategy & Innovation and Senior Architect/Design Manager. AlShaibani's expertise includes verifying design criteria, reviewing architectural drawings, and managing the design process to ensure cost-effective and technically sound project outcomes. Previous experience includes working as an Engineer in Building Regulation with Abu Dhabi City Municipality, focusing on the implementation of the 2030 vision, and as an Architect-Facility Controller with Emirates Group. AlShaibani holds a Bachelor of Architecture from The University of Queensland and is pursuing a Master of Science in Sustainable Design of Built Environment at BuiD University in Dubai.
