George Raafat

George Raafat has extensive experience in the technology industry. George currently holds the position of DevOps/Infrastructure Lead at Wasla Browser, a role they have held since October 2021. Prior to this, George worked at IBM for six years, where they held multiple roles. George started as a Siebel Consultant from May 2015 to February 2017, then transitioned to a Weblogic Administration Consultant from February 2017 to October 2021. From May 2018 to October 2021, George worked as a DevOps Consultant at IBM, responsible for developing and automating CI Pipeline and maintaining the Infrastructure as Code (IAC) for ecommerce environments. Before joining IBM, they were an Apps DBA at Oracle from July 2013 to May 2015.

George Raafat's education history includes the following:

George attended ITI (Information Technology Institute) from 2012 to 2013, where they completed a 9-month diploma in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management.

Prior to that, from 2007 to 2012, George studied at the Faculty of Engineering at Helwan University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.

Their high school education was completed at Patriarchal college school, from 1994 to 2007, resulting in a high school degree.

In addition to their formal education, George Raafat also obtained a certification in Retail Industry Foundations from IBM in March 2020.
