Syrus Akbary Nieto

Syrus Akbary Nieto has been working in the tech industry since 2012. Syrus began their career as the CTO, Software Architect, and Frontend Lead Manager at uSpeak Ltd. In 2014, they moved to Chegg Inc., where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer, developing frontend pages using Backbone and creating and implementing a new administration project for the product team using node.js, React, and Silex PHP. In 2016, they joined Affirm, Inc. as a Full Stack Engineer. In 2017, they were the CTO at Try.com, and in 2018 they became the Founder and CEO of both Wasmer and Graphene.

Syrus Akbary Nieto attended the Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained a B.S. in Mathematics.
