Simran Singh

Simran Singh, CPA, currently serves as Assistant Controller at Waste Connections of Canada since December 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Manufacturing Lead - Accounting at Metrie from December 2021 to December 2023 and Manager at EY from January 2018 to December 2021, where various positions also included Senior Accountant, Intermediate Accountant, and Staff Accountant. Additional experience comprises a student-athlete tutor position at Simon Fraser University from March 2016 to August 2018, and staff accountant roles during co-op placements at Finger Food Studios and McLean Bartok Edwards CPA. Simran also held leadership as President of the SFU Accounting Student Association and worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Beedie School of Business. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Commerce from Simon Fraser University and an Associate's Degree in Chemistry from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, along with CPA designation achieved between 2018 and 2020.
