David L. Reed

As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for WM, David Reed is responsible for the company’s accounting, finance, investor relations, treasury, and tax functions. He also has executive responsibility for the company’s internal audit and supply chain functions. Reed joined the company in 2017 as Vice President and Treasurer and was most recently the Vice President and Business Partner for WM’s West Tier operations. Prior to joining WM, he held various finance and investment banking positions at LyondellBasell, Kimberly-Clark, Citigroup, and Wachovia. Reed earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science from Southern Methodist University and an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.
