Jeff Dehner

Jeff Dehner currently serves as Vice President and General Counsel for Environment, Health, and Safety at WM, leading the company's legal team in areas such as asset development, mergers and acquisitions, and compliance. Prior to WM, Jeff held the position of Managing Counsel for Major Projects, Environmental, Regulatory Permitting, and Litigation at Enbridge following its merger with Spectra Energy, where substantial energy assets are managed. Jeff's extensive legal career includes roles as Associate General Counsel at Spectra Energy, Senior Attorney at Hunton & Williams LLP, Partner at Hartman Simons & Wood LLP, and Associate at Hunton & Williams LLP. Early career experience includes serving as Associate Regional Counsel at the US EPA. Jeff Dehner obtained a JD with Distinction from Emory University School of Law and a BA in Political Science and Government from Miami University.
