Suren Abbas

Suren Abbas is an experienced professional in human resources and accounting, currently serving as the Compensations & Benefits and HRIS Section Head at Wataniya Group since December 2018. Responsibilities include preparing payroll and accrual reports for over 550 employees and managing income tax and social security reporting. Previously, Suren held various positions within Wataniya Group, including Compensation & Benefits Supervisor and General Accountant, where multiple financial processes and customer account management were handled. Prior experience includes roles at Millennium Hotels and Resorts as an Income Auditor, Night Auditor, and Accounts Receivable Specialist, as well as a Marketing Research Supervisor at Azady Industries and an English Instructor at New Generation Institute. Suren holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani.
