Jan Mindegaard

Jan Mindegaard has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Jan has worked as the Head of Brand and Communication at Watch Medier since September 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Marketing at Watch Medier from May 2017 to September 2023. Jan Mindegaard also has experience as a self-employed entrepreneur from September 2016 to May 2017. Before that, they worked at TV 2 DANMARK A/S as a Managing Editor/News Editor from April 2014 to September 2016 and at Radio24syv as a Managing Editor/Head of News from September 2011 to April 2014. Jan started their career as a News Editor/Journalist at Berlingske from October 2004 to September 2011. Jan Mindegaard has also worked as a Radio Journalist at NORDJYSKE Medier from October 2002 to October 2004 and as a Communication Consultant at DR - Danmarks Radio from January 2002 to October 2002. Jan began their professional journey as a Financial Trainee at Nykredit from August 1996 to August 1998.

Jan Mindegaard started their education at Odense Katedralskole from 1990 to 1993. Later, from 1995 to 1996, they attended TietgenSkolen hhx. Jan then pursued a Bachelor of Journalism at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark from 1998 to 2002. In 2008, Jan Mindegaard furthered their education at the Poynter Institute, specializing in Leadership for the 24/7 Print Newsroom. From 2011 to 2012, they attended Mediekonsulenterne, focusing on Change Management and Organizational Leadership. Lastly, in 2015 and 2016, Jan Mindegaard attended Summit Consulting to enhance their skills in Leadership Management.
