Carol Wade has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Carol worked at Watchfire Signs from 2011 to present, starting as an Internet Marketing Specialist and eventually becoming the Senior Director of Marketing. In this role, they were responsible for digital marketing, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and business development. Carol also led the company through a website merge and redesign.
Prior to Watchfire Signs, Carol worked at the University of Illinois as a Public Address Announcer for women's basketball and other sporting events from 2002 to 2012. Carol gained experience announcing high-profile events, including the 2004 NCAA Men's gymnastics tournament.
From 2008 to 2011, Carol worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Carle Foundation Hospital. In this role, they developed strategic marketing plans, managed media buying, and oversaw website content.
Before that, Carol worked in radio at Neuhoff Communications as a Program Director from 1997 to 2008. Carol managed the brand and positioning of the station, led a format change, and developed promotional events.
Carol also worked briefly as an Account Executive at WZNF, WGKC, WQQB in 1997, and as a Vendor Relations Manager/Marketing Specialist at United CD ROM/American Software & Hardware Distributors from 1995 to 1997.
Their earliest known role was as a Morning Co-host and Production Specialist at TAK Communications from 1993 to 1995.
Carol Wade attended several educational institutions throughout their career. From 1992 to 1994, they studied Mass Communications at Parkland College, earning an AAS degree. Following that, from 1998 to 2000, they attended Danville Area Community College/Danville Junior College, focusing on Information Technology. Although they did not obtain a degree from this institution, they gained knowledge in the field.
Carol's main degree, a BA in General Studies, was obtained from Eastern Illinois University. Their studies at Eastern Illinois University lasted from 2000 to 2005.
In addition to their degree, Carol Wade has obtained several certifications. In 2014, they became a Salesforce.com Certified Administrator through Salesforce. Carol acquired further knowledge and skills in 2016 through Predictable University. Lastly, in September 2022, they completed the "Leading with Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence" certification program offered by Kellogg Executive Education.
