Eivind Naess

Eivind Naess is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in developing and integrating software solutions across multiple organizations. Currently employed at NetMotion Software by Absolute since June 2013 and at WatchGuard Technologies since June 2008 as a Staff Software Engineer, Eivind has contributed to building eXtensible Threat Management devices focused on network security for small and medium businesses. Additional experience includes work as an independent Open Source developer and contractor since February 2011, where Eivind authored an SSTP client for Linux, and prior roles at Boeing, where Eivind developed the operating system for Network File Servers for the Boeing 777, and at Volt Information Sciences, providing competitive technical analysis to Microsoft. Eivind holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Washington State University.
