Aaron Garnett

Aaron Garnett has a strong background in genomics and scientific research. Aaron currently holds the position of Principal Scientist at Watchmaker Genomics since August 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director of Applications at Sequencing Health from September 2022 to June 2023. Before that, they served as the Senior Director of Applications at Genapsys from July 2021 to September 2022. Aaron also held various roles at ArcherDX, Inc., including Director of Research and Development, Associate Director - Assay Development, Group Lead - Assay Development, Senior Scientist, and Research Scientist, spanning from March 2015 to October 2020. Aaron began their career as a Postdoc at the University of Colorado at Boulder from November 2008 to September 2014, and as a Graduate Student at the University of California, Berkeley from August 2002 to October 2008.

Aaron Garnett earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Wyoming in 2001. Aaron then went on to obtain their Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2008.
