Anna-May Golding

Anna-May Golding has an extensive work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Anna-May is currently the Head of Group Finance at Watchmaker Genomics, where they collaborate with the executive team and department leaders to make efficient financial decisions. Anna-May also provides leadership and oversight for the Finance Shared Service Center.

Previously, Anna-May worked at Roche Diagnostics Cape Town as a Finance Manager, where they were a member of the Roche Diagnostic Cape Town Site and RSS Finance Leadership teams. Anna-May also held various responsibilities, including being a Prescribed Officer for the Legal Entity and a member of the Social and Ethics Committee.

Before that, Anna-May worked at Monsanto Company, where they held multiple roles, including Planning Lead, Seed Production Planner, Business Analyst, and Financial Accountant. Anna-May managed and directed teams and led various planning and crop teams.

Anna-May also gained valuable experience at Dell, where they worked as an Accountant, Business Accountant, and Financial Accountant. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant Financial Accountant at S.P.L. (Division of DiData) and as an Assistant Scheme Accountant at Medscheme earlier in their career.

Anna-May Golding has a varied education history. In 1998, they obtained an Advanced Certificate in Taxation from the University of Johannesburg. Anna-May then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting from the same university, completing it in 1995. In 2001, they continued their studies at the University of Johannesburg and earned a B.Com. Hons degree in Finance and Financial Management Services in 2002. Anna-May further expanded their education by completing a Project Management Foundation course at the University of Cape Town in 2019. In 2018, they participated in an MBA Essentials program with a focus on Business Administration and Management at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Additionally, Anna-May has obtained numerous certifications in various professional areas, including Agile Leadership, Scrum, communication, and interpersonal skills.
