Andy Proud

Andy Proud has extensive experience in financial management and auditing, with a career spanning over three decades. Since January 2016, Andy has held the position of Head of Group Business Finance at Taylor Wimpey plc, along with serving as Interim Group Financial Controller. Prior to this role, significant experience at Centrica Energy included positions as Financial Controller for both Exploration & Production and Midstream, as well as Chief Accountant for Power Generation. Earlier roles at Centrica included Business Performance Manager and Midstream Power Finance Analyst. Andy's professional journey began at Ernst & Young as an Audit Manager and at IBM as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. Educational qualifications include a BEng in Manufacturing Engineering from Brunel University of London and professional certifications from ICAEW and the Institute of Engineering & Technology.
