Elvina Liow

Elvina Liow has over 13 years of work experience. Elvina started their career in 2007 as a Life Planner, Financial Services at Great Eastern Life Assurance. Elvina then interned at IDA Singapore as a Next Generation National Broadband Network in the same year. In 2009, they were a Sales Engineer at ROOTS Communications Pte Ltd. In 2015, they were a Product Manager at Apacer Technology BV, responsible for product lines of Industrial & Commodity DRAM, Industrial & Commodity SD & microSD cards, Commodity SSD & USB. In 2016, they were a Product Manager at ACE Pacific Group, responsible for the distribution sales of Web Defence Solutions, such as DDoS mitigation, CDN services & WAF. In 2017, they were a Business Development Manager and Account Manager at NTT Singapore Pte Ltd. From 2019 to 2022, they were an Account Director at F-Secure Corporation and WithSecure. Currently, they are an Account Director at watchTowr.

Elvina Liow has a comprehensive education history. Elvina obtained a GCE Ordinary Level from Ang Mo Kio Secondary School from 1998 to 2001 in Double Science & Mathematics. Elvina then attended Serangoon Junior College from 2002 to 2003 and obtained a GCE Advanced Level in Science. Elvina then attended Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2004 to 2008 and obtained an EEE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Elvina is currently attending Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) from 2021 to 2023 and is pursuing a Master of Science in Security by Design (MSSD). Additionally, Elvina Liow has obtained certifications from Coursera and Microsoft. In 2021, they obtained a certification in Execution, Persistence, Privilege Escalation and Evasion from Coursera and in July 2021, they obtained a certification in Introduction to Python for Cybersecurity from Coursera. In 2020, they obtained a certification in Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft.
