After their career in law enforcement, Cris transitioned to the private sector and worked as the Co-Owner and Operations Manager at Down Range Tactical Training & Outdoors. Here, they were responsible for event scheduling, accounting, business development, and website management.

Currently, Cris works at Watco Companies LLC, where they have held various roles over the years. Their most recent position is the Director of People Services, where they are responsible for implementing strategies in talent management, leadership development, and fostering a positive team culture.
