Marc Massoglia has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Marc started their career at Sea-Land Service, Inc., working as an Assistant Marine Manager from 1990 to 1992. From there, they joined CSX and held various roles such as Assistant Market Manager - Agriculture, Market Manager - Steel Scrap, Director International Sales, and Director General. During their tenure at CSX, they were responsible for revenue generation, profit maximization, and market strategy implementation.
In 2003, Massoglia moved to TRANSFLO, where they served as Vice President - Logistics. In this role, they designed the organization and built a team to provide logistic services, as well as created a warehouse marketing network linking rail and non-rail served customers.
Following their time at TRANSFLO, Massoglia joined Paige Electric Co., L.P. as Sales - Submersible Pump Cable. In this position, they focused on developing new markets and customers in the submersible pump cable industry, with global responsibilities for sales, sourcing, design, product development, marketing, and logistics.
From 2009 to 2012, Massoglia worked at American Scientific Resources as the Senior Vice President. During their tenure, they directed all sales and marketing efforts, managed domestic and international distributors, and oversaw outsourced retail and independent sales teams.
In 2012, Massoglia joined Kinder Morgan as the Commercial Manager - Steel Team Leader. In this role, they were responsible for commercial aspects of the company's sales, developing new business, managing customer relationships, and overseeing a team focused on steel handling capabilities.
Most recently, since 2015, Massoglia has been with Watco Companies LLC. Marc started as a Senior Marketing Manager for Watco Terminal & Port Services, then moved on to become Vice President Marketing and Sales. Their responsibilities included leading marketing and sales efforts, expanding organic growth, developing the sales team, and spearheading new terminal identification and creation. Marc later became Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing, then Senior Vice President - Commercial, and finally, Senior Vice President - Sales Terminals & Ports.
Throughout their career, Massoglia has showcased strong leadership, sales, and marketing expertise across various industries, with a focus on logistics, transportation, and industrial services.
Marc Massoglia earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Finance, General from the University of Maryland in 1988. Marc then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Economics from the same university, which they completed in 1990.
