Velia Torres

Velia Torres is an experienced marketing professional with a strong background in digital content operations and graphic design. Currently serving as the Acting Marketing Content Operations Lead at Water Corporation since November 2019, Velia also holds the positions of Content Team Lead and Planner for Digital Content. Previous experience includes various roles at Curtin University from 2007 to 2019, such as Communications Coordinator and Marketing Communications Officer, as well as a Graphic Designer at Jaz Creative and Fairfax Media. Velia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the University of South Australia and is pursuing a Master's in Internet Communications at Curtin University.
