Ashima Chaudhary is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in the fields of agriculture and social work. Currently serving as the Managing Partner for the Rural Futures Programme at Water, Environment, Land and Livelihoods (WELL) Labs since April 2024, Ashima previously held the position of State Coordinator at Watershed Support Services and Activities Network (WASSAN) from November 2017 to May 2023, managing the Integrated Farming Programme and Odisha Millets Mission. Earlier roles include Program Coordinator at Revitalising Rainfed Agriculture Network from September 2014 to October 2016, where Ashima contributed to policy initiatives for rainfed agriculture in multiple states, and Team Lead at WASSAN from February 2012 to August 2014, focusing on pilot programs for rainfed agriculture. Ashima holds a Master's in Social Work with a specialization in Dalit and Tribe Centered Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Geography from Delhi University.
