Lakshmi Pranuti Choppakatla

Lakshmi Pranuti Choppakatla is a seasoned professional with a strong background in community outreach and research within environmental and ecological contexts. Currently serving as a Senior Community Outreach Associate at Water, Environment, Land and Livelihoods (WELL) Labs since April 2023, Lakshmi previously held the position of Research Assistant at the Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment from September 2018 to April 2023. Earlier experience includes a role as GIS Executive at RedBay UAV Services and internships focused on GIS/Remote Sensing and marketing with Ashoka Trust and IIC Technologies, respectively. Lakshmi holds a Master's degree in Environment Education and Research from Bharati Vidyapeeth University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning.
