Seda Arzumanyan has a diverse work experience in the field of development and fundraising. Seda Arzumanyan obtained their Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Yerevan State University from 1998 to 2002. Seda then pursued a Master's degree in Social Work from the same university from 2002 to 2004. Later, they went on to earn a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, attending from 2016 to 2018.
In addition to their formal education, Seda Arzumanyan also pursued various certifications related to fundraising. Seda obtained the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification from CFRE International in March 2021. In September 2016, they obtained a Certificate in Fundraising Management from The Fund Raising School. Prior to that, they completed a certification in Professional Fundraising from Boston University in May 2014.
Water for Good
Water for Good provides hand pump maintenance services in central Africa, working collaboratively with the community to conduct standardized performance checks and make minor repairs on the pumps. The process provides communities with sustainable access to clean water, transformational sanitation principles, and improved agricultural resources.Water for Good serves communities in the Central African Republic (CAR) who rely on water pumps as their main source of clean, safe drinking water and can benefit from improved functionality and maintenance of their pumps. The company currently services over 950 water pumps, impacting roughly 500,000 people. There are an additional 2.7 million people in CAR who could benefit from Water for Good?s services through local NGOs or community well committees.In Sub-Saharan Africa, an estimated $1 billion dollars worth of investment in rural water hand pumps has gone to waste due to broken pumps. Water for Good teams conduct standardized performance checks, replace worn parts, make minor repairs and monitor the hand pumps. Unlike past efforts that have left water pumps nonfunctional, Water for Good provides a comprehensive set of services that ensure long-term water point functionality.
