Andrew Fraser

Andrew Fraser is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in asset strategy and water management. Currently serving as Manager Asset Strategy at WaterNSW since January 2016, Andrew has previously held significant roles such as Planning Manager at HydroScience Consulting, where leadership of the Planning Team supported clients in various water-related plans. Andrew's background includes planning officer roles with the NSW State Emergency Management Committee, overseeing disaster mitigation systems, and program coordination at the NSW Office of Water, managing multiple water projects across numerous councils. Early career positions at the NSW Environment Protection Authority and Sydney Water prepared Andrew for strategic planning and risk management within the water sector. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney and a Master of Environmental Studies focused on Environment and Water from Macquarie University.
