Mike Ahmadi is a seasoned engineer specializing in dam safety and geotechnical engineering, currently serving as the Lead Dam Safety Engineer at WaterNSW since July 2020. With extensive experience spanning over 18 years, roles have included Dams/Geotechnical Engineer positions at GHD and BANDAB Consulting Engineers, where skills in risk assessments, stability analysis, and dam safety reviews were honed. Prior to these, Mike contributed to river engineering and hydrological modelling in civil engineering roles. Mike holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bu-Ali Sina University and the Power and Water University of Technology, respectively.
