Michael Propst

Michael Propst has over 17 years of diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Starting in 2005, they began their career at Abercrombie & Fitch, where they held positions such as Sourcing Manager and Senior Project Engineer. During their time there, they focused on building relationships with suppliers, resolving sourcing problems, and implementing process improvements.

In 2012, they joined Ralph Lauren as a Senior Manager, where they led global manufacturing and sourcing initiatives and organized deliverables for SAP implementation. Michael also played a key role in achieving cost savings through the First Sale program.

In 2013, Propst moved to American Eagle Outfitters as a Senior Manager of Production. Michael successfully managed the development, production, and sourcing for millions of units and exceeded IMU goals through strategic allocation and standardization of product development.

From 2015 to 2018, they worked at The Shade Store as the Vice President of Production, where they focused on strengthening vendor onboarding, manufacturing, fulfillment, and operations processes. Michael achieved notable improvements in lead times, out-of-stock rates, and customer satisfaction.

At vineyard vines, Propst served as the Vice President of Production and later as the Director of Custom Operations and Social Compliance. Michael gained experience in production and played a significant role in improving operations efficiency.

From 2020 to 2021, they ran their own consulting firm, Propst Consulting Group, where they served as Principal. Michael acted as the Chief Supply Chain Officer for a multinational company, developed quality systems for PPE production, improved operational processes, and built business intelligence tools.

Most recently, Propst joined PVH Corp. in 2021 as the Director of Corporate Business Process. Michael was responsible for optimizing business processes and supporting corporate goals.

Currently, they hold the position of Director of Business Strategy at Waterworks, starting in 2022.
