Melissa Tomkiel

Melissa Tomkiel has a strong background in the legal field and aviation industry. Melissa worked at BLADE Urban Air Mobility, Inc. from 2015 to present, holding various roles including President & General Counsel and President - Fixed Wing Operations. Prior to BLADE, Melissa was President and General Counsel at Fly The Whale from 2010 to 2021. Melissa also worked as an Attorney at Pryor Cashman from 2006 to 2010.

Melissa Tomkiel completed their Bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame in the years 1998 to 2002. Melissa then pursued their Juris Doctor (J.D.) from St. John's University School of Law from 2003 to 2006. Prior to their higher education, Melissa attended Bronxville High School from 1994 to 1998, where they earned their High School diploma.
