Chanae Abernethy is an architectural intern at BWA Architects since January 2021, bringing valuable experience from previous roles including program intern at Water4, where responsibilities included using modeling software for designing water kiosks and engaging with African partners for funding projects. Chanae has also served as a campus tour guide at the University of Oklahoma, leading tours and presentations for prospective students. Experience as a humanitarian aid worker involved organizing activities and mentoring at various refugee shelters, while a tenure as a missions volunteer worker included administering immunizations and conducting healthcare presentations. Earlier roles featured tutoring mathematics at Mathnasium and preparing presentations and documents as a paid intern at Mission Landscape Companies. Chanae holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Oklahoma, completed in 2022.
