Adam Furse has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Adam started their career as an HR Officer/Manager at the National Crime Squad in 1997. During their time there, they successfully formed and developed a new team and managed the design and implementation of a new reward strategy.

In 2003, Adam became the Head of HR at the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust (SSAT) where they revitalized the HR function, turning it into a successful and highly regarded team. Adam also led recruitment activity during a period of rapid organizational growth.

Adam's roles at WaterAid also included being the Head of Organizational Development, where they project managed the setup of the global governance infrastructure and supported the development of the WaterAid federation. Adam then served as the Interim Global Director of WaterAid International, providing leadership and support to the organization.

In 2019, Adam took on the role of Head of Governance and Membership at WaterAid, where they continued to contribute to the organization's governance and management.

Additionally, Adam had a temporary role at Magic Bus Global in 2019, where they served as the Global Secretary. In this role, they supported the development of the new global entity and focused on increasing engagement, alignment, and good governance.
