Emilia Tynkkynen

Emilia Tynkkynen is an experienced fundraising professional currently serving as the Community and Events Fundraising Manager at WaterAid since August 2025. Prior to this role, Emilia worked at MS Society from May 2018 to August 2025, where positions included Senior Events Fundraiser and Community and Events Fundraising Officer. Emilia's career also includes experience as an Events Fundraising Assistant at Arthritis Research UK and various roles at Sitel Group, including Commercial Backliner and Customer Service Professional. Additional roles span project management at TransPerfect, bilingual consumer advising at the LEGO Group, and prior service in hospitality and customer service positions. Emilia holds a Master’s Degree in Human Rights from the University of Roehampton and a BSc(Econ) in Geography with Business Management from Queen Mary, University of London.
