Prerana Somani

Project Manager at WaterAid

Prerana Somani has a diverse work experience starting from 2011. Prerana began their career as an Executive- Business Development at Charutar Arogya Mandal, where they worked until 2013. Prerana then moved on to work as a Consultant at the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty from 2013 to 2015. This was followed by a role as a Consultant for WASH in Schools at UNICEF India from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, they became a Chevening Scholar at Chevening Scholarships for a year. In 2019, they joined WaterAid as a Volunteer for a few months before transitioning to the Urban Management Centre. At the Urban Management Centre, they held the positions of Program Manager and later Senior Program Manager until May 2023. Prerana's most recent work experience is as a Project Manager at WaterAid starting in June 2023.

Prerana Somani completed their Master's degree in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they pursued Post Graduation in Business Administration (MBA) from the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) between 2009 and 2011.
