Rachel Marshall

Special Events Manager - Operations at WaterAid

Rachel Marshall has a diverse work experience in event management and administration. Rachel started as a Team Leader at Fosters Event Catering in 2009 and worked there until 2015. Rachel then joined Oxfam as a Festivals Administrative Assistant, where they provided support for volunteer stewards and assisted with on-site administration at various festivals. In 2016, Rachel worked as an Office Executive at SLV, a NGO focused on special educational needs and mental health, where they interviewed applicants and managed the volunteer application process. Rachel joined WaterAid in 2017 as an Events Projects Assistant and later became an Events Projects Officer. Rachel briefly worked as a Spectator Services Supervisor at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation before joining the Australian Grand Prix Corporation as a Compliance Officer. In 2019, they worked as a Site Coordinator at Tennis Australia. Currently, Rachel is employed at WaterAid as a Senior Festivals Officer and will be transitioning to the role of Special Events Manager - operations in 2023.

Rachel Marshall earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Nottingham. Rachel attended the university from 2010 to 2013.
