Tessa Collins has a diverse work experience. Tessa is currently employed as a Strategic Partnerships Officer at WaterAid since September 2022. Earlier in their career, Tessa worked at Cardiff University as a Partnerships Coordinator for the Erasmus Student Network from September 2018 to June 2019. Tessa developed partnerships with local businesses and managed contracts. Tessa also worked as a Student Ambassador and completed their undergraduate studies in Italian and philosophy, including two work placements in France. Tessa was also the Vice President of the Erasmus Student Network Cardiff Section from September 2016 to June 2017.

Tessa's work experience also includes a position at The AA as a Customer Service Advisor from June 2018 to September 2018, handling emergency calls and ensuring the smooth operation of customer journeys. Additionally, they worked as an English Language Assistant at Académie de Bordeaux from October 2017 to April 2018, where they assisted teachers, developed lesson plans, and introduced UK contemporary culture to students learning English as a second language.

Tessa Collins obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. In addition to their degree, they also obtained additional certifications including the Introduction to Securities & Investment from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) in August 2020 and The Cardiff Award from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd in May 2017.
