Marlene Hormes

Marlene Hormes, CFA, currently serves as Chief Investment Officer at WaterEquity since February 2024 and is an Investment Committee Member for the African Development Bank Group since October 2022. Prior to these roles, Marlene Hormes held the position of Chief Investment Officer and Head of Africa at Annycent Capital from September 2022 to January 2024, and from 2019 to 2022, served as Fund Manager, Investment Committee Member, and Board Member at AlphaMundi Group Ltd. Marlene Hormes also brings extensive experience from DEG as Vice President from 2008 to 2019, and from Corporación Inmobilaria Vesta as an Independent Board Member and Audit Committee member between 2012 and 2018. Early in the career, Marlene Hormes worked at Goldman Sachs from 2000 to 2007, advancing from Financial Analyst to Vice President. Marlene Hormes holds a CFA Charter and earned a degree from Boston College from 1996 to 2000.
